The Montefalco Rosso Pomontino from Tenuta Bellafonte is a red wine that fully expresses the Umbrian territory and its peculiarities. It is made from Sangiovese and Sagrantino grapes vinified as whole clusters with only indigenous yeasts and ages for 12 months in oak barrels. Its ruby red tending to garnet anticipates a dark bouquet of spices, currants, and bitter orange, with hints of tobacco. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and well balanced, with a pleasant acidity and light tannic structure.
