Vibrant and beautifully fruity tones of wild strawberry and raspberry, open to an intriguing spicy box. Fresh and juicy, it boasting bright acidity, fine tannins and deepness.

The Munjebel Rosso "CS" by Frank Cornellissen is part of the excellence labels of the range of the Belgian-born winemaker, who has established himself as one of the most esteemed artisanal producers in the Etna area. It is a red wine made with pure Nerello Mascalese, the indigenous grape variety of the territory. The grapes, which come from old vines located in one of the most prized crus of the estate, express wines of extreme quality and finesse, capable of conveying those characteristic savory and mineral notes typical of volcanic origin soils. It is a wine of great elegance, with refined, persistent aromas and a nice freshness that makes it very pleasant and smooth to drink.

The "CS" Rosso is born in the Etna estate of Frank Cornellissen, which extends for about 19 hectares in the locality of Solicchiata, in the municipality of Castiglione di Sicilia. It is on the northern slope of the volcano that the famous winemaker has decided to embark on a personal journey, with the intent of enhancing the individual crus. The vineyards are located at an altitude ranging from 650 to 980 meters above sea level and can benefit from a sunny but cool and breezy climate, with significant temperature fluctuations between day and night. Its wines are a true and sincere expression of the best varietal characteristics of Nerello Mascalese and the soils composed of the disintegration of lava material from the eruptions of Mongibello. Thus, prestigious labels are born, rich in personality and still crafted with artisanal passion. In the glass, it presents a light ruby red color, with slight garnet hues. The bouquet offers aromas of raspberry, wild strawberries, red berry fruits, spicy notes, and wild herbs from the Mediterranean scrub. The sip is long and deep, tense and energetic, with lively tannins and a pleasant finish on mineral tones.
