The Nero d'Avola "Amìra" by Feudo Principi di Butera is a typical and expressive Sicilian red, resulting from vinification in steel and aging in large oak barrels. On the nose, the delicate and fresh aromas of violet and geranium blend with more concentrated notes of strawberry pulp, rhubarb, and myrtle. On the palate, it is fragrant and clear, rich in winey notes, fresh, and long-lasting.

The Nero d'Avola "Amira" from the Sicilian winery Principi di Butera is a red wine of good structure and great territorial typicity, made with the most widespread red grape variety in Sicily. The splendid area of Butera produces grapes of great quality, which, together with a measured aging in wood, allow for the preservation of the best floral and fruity notes of Nero d'Avola, enriched by elegant evolutionary notes, making the wine more complex and aromatically multifaceted.

The Nero d'Avola wine is born from the grapes of the vineyards cultivated in the hilly area of Butera, in Contrada Deliella. It is precisely in the inland area of Licata that the estate of Feudo Principi di Butera is located, a property of 320 hectares of which 180 are planted with vines. The climate, warm and Mediterranean, is mitigated by sea breezes and the altitude of the vineyards, cultivated in hilly areas between 250 and 350 meters. The calcareous soils give the wines profiles of great finesse and the temperature excursions allow for the production of high-quality grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28-30 °C, with a maceration on the skins of 15 days.Steel at a controlled temperature of 28-30 °C, with a maceration on the skins for 15 days. The wine rests for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels of 30-60 hl and completes the aging with a few months in bottle.

"Amira" Nero d'Avola Principi di Butera is an interesting version of this classic Sicilian wine. A label that faithfully interprets the varietal characteristics of the grape and stands out for its pleasant smoothness and drinkability. The wine has a bright ruby red color. On the nose, it releases floral aromas, scents of wild herbs from the Mediterranean scrub, strawberries, and small red berry fruits. On the palate, it has a medium structure, with aromas of good intensity and a fine and elegant tannic texture. The finish is harmonious and of good persistence.
