“Nosiol”, produced by the Trentino winery Eredi di Cobelli Aldo, is a white wine with a delicate and fresh profile, made, as the name suggests, from the indigenous white grape variety Nosiola in purity. The wine is born in the Lavis area, at the entrance of the Valle di Cembra, and delivers in the glass the typical freshness of mountain whites, elegant, subtle, characterized by fragrant fruity notes. Extremely pleasant to drink young, it is a wine that evolves perfectly in the bottle towards very elegant tertiary aromas and good aromatic complexity.
The white Nosiola "Nosiol" is born on the splendid hills of the Avisane hills of Sornì, where the winery Eredi di Cobelli Aldo cultivates 8 hectares of vineyard. It is a small family reality that has been working these lands for over a century, producing grapes in the ancient Maso. The climate is cool and sunny, mitigated by the wind from Lake Garda and characterized by strong temperature fluctuations. The Nosiola is cultivated at an altitude of 450 meters above sea level, on soils predominantly gypsum and limestone with the presence of silt and clays. At the end of the harvest, the grapes are softly pressed. The free-run must ferments in stainless steel tanks and matures for 6 months in stainless steel before bottling.
The “Nosiol” Nosiola produced by the Trentino winery Eredi di Cobelli Aldo is a fragrant and young white wine, a perfect expression of this interesting indigenous variety. It presents a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it expresses aromas of white flowers, citrus notes, white fruit, tropical hints, fresh almond, and iodized scents. The taste is pleasantly delicate and harmonious, with ripe fruity aromas and balanced freshness. The finish is of good persistence, with a closure on slightly savory notes.
