The Nuragus Pedraia wine is one of the flagship whites of the Sardinian winery Santadi. It is produced with grapes from the best company vineyards, cultivated on soils made up of clays and sands of the hilly area of lower Sulcis, in southern Sardinia. The clusters are gently pressed and the free-run must is fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Before bottling, the wine rests on its own yeasts in cement tanks for a few months. In the glass, it has a light yellow color with slight golden reflections. The olfactory profile is intense, with aromas of ripe yellow-fleshed fruit, fragrant citrus notes, delicate floral nuances, and aromatic herbs from the Mediterranean scrub. The sip is very harmonious, broad, and juicy, with a balanced finish and good taste persistence.
