SPUMANTE 'OTELLO ROSÉ 1813' CECI DESCRIPTION

"Otello Rosé 1813" is a sparkling wine produced with the Charmat Method by Cantina Ceci, one of the most prestigious names in the Emilia-Romagna wine scene. It is a rosé sparkling wine based on Pinot Noir, with a soft and fruity profile, expressing delicate floral scents, aromas of small berries, vivid mousse and great drinkability. A label of great versatility, suitable for accompanying convivial moments, cheese and charcuterie appetizers or appetizing finger food.

Ceci's Spumante "Otello Rosé 1813" is made with Pinot Noir grapes, which come from vineyards cultivated in the hilly area north of Parma. The choice of sparkling wine using the Charmat or Martinotti method, with re-fermentation in autoclaves, is made to try to enhance above all the varietal characteristics of the grapes, bringing to the fore the delicate varietal notes of Pinot Noir and its refined and fresh fruity aromas. After harvest, the grapes are vinified in white, with brief contact with the skins, to extract aromas, flavours and some colour. The base wines are then started in autoclave fermentation with the addition of selected yeasts. Once the fermentation and second fermentation are complete, the wine rests for a short time in tanks before being bottled.

The "Rosé Otello 1831" from the Emilian winery Ceci is a harmonious, pleasantly fresh and fruity sparkling wine. An ideal choice for those seeking a glass that combines the noble personality of Pinot Noir with the expressive immediacy and simplicity of the Charmat Method. It shows a beautiful deep pink, almost cherry colour. The mousse is creamy and delicate, with rich and continuous perlage. The nose opens on subtle floral scents of violet, rose petals and fragrant aromas of wild strawberries, red currant and raspberry. The sip is lively and juicy, with pleasantly crisp fruit and intense freshness.
