The sweet Sardinian passito wine "Latinia" is one of the excellences produced by the Santadi winery, as evidenced by the excellent recognitions awarded to it over the years. It is a product made from overripe grapes, where the sweet component creates an almost tactile, full-bodied sip that envelops the palate with great softness. A bottle that is nothing short of perfect for concluding formal lunches and dinners.

The "Latinia" Late Harvest is produced by the Santadi winery starting from white grape varieties grown in bush-trained vines. The vineyards where this variety grows are characterized by predominantly loose and sandy soil. The harvest usually takes place between the end of September and the end of October, and begins when the bunches are overripe. The must, rich in sugars, after separation from the skins, is fermented in stainless steel tanks, and then undergoes an inhibition of the fermentation process. Finally, the aging phase and bottling operations are carried out.

"Latinia" Vendemmia Tardiva presents itself to the eye as a typically amber nectar, very bright and dense. The array of aromas enveloping the nose showcases complex and layered scents, moving from notes of honey and caramel to hints of candied fruit and spices. On the palate, it has excellent body, velvety, almost chewy on the sip, where a concentrated sapidity is felt along with a flavor that recalls some of the aromas already perceived on the nose. A label with which the Santadi winery reaps successes and awards at the national level, confirming itself as a productive reality of excellent quality.
