From an initial core of just a few hectares, the Santa Barbara estate has progressively expanded to reach the current 25 hectares of property, plus about fifteen hectares rented. The vineyards are cultivated at an altitude of about 250 meters above sea level, with plots scattered in the locations of Arcevia, Montecarotto, Serrade’ Conti and Barbara. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah are vinified separately, with fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Before being released for sale, the wine matures for 18 months in barrique.
