The Pfefferer Pink from the Alto Adige winery Colterenzio is a delicate and fresh rosé that perfectly expresses the character of its territory of origin. The wine is born from a balanced blend of grapes from various historically present red-skinned varieties in Alto Adige. Like all blends, more than the taste of a particular variety, it is a wine that aims to highlight especially the territorial imprint. Alongside the most classic floral aromas and the scents of small berries, the Colterenzio label offers the pleasure of tasting a subtle, dynamic rosé characterized by a pleasant mineral freshness, typical of mountain wines.

The Pfefferer Pink wine is produced by one of the best-known and most important names in Alto Adige wine. The Colterenzio winery was founded in 1960 and today includes about 300 member growers, who directly cultivate their vineyards with care and artisanal passion. The vineyards are located in the famous areas of Colterenzio, Cornaiano, Appiano, Bolzano, and Salorno, at altitudes ranging from 250 to 500 meters. The red-skinned varietiesred used to produce the Pfefferer Rosé, find their home on morainic and alluvial soils, characterized by gravelly and sandy lands, which give the wines a particular finesse and elegance. The cool climate with strong temperature fluctuations allows for the harvest of balanced and fragrant grapes, ideal for creating an excellent rosé with a typically territorial face.

The Rosé Pfefferer Colterenzio is a young and fragrant wine that immediately expresses the primary aromas of the grapes. The use of a selection of bunches from vineyards planted with different varieties allows for a particularly harmonious and balanced rosé. The vinification takes place with a short contact with the skins and with extremely gentle pressing. The free-run juice is vinified in white in stainless steel tanks. Before being bottled, the wine rests for a few months on the fine lees in steel tanks. In the glass, it presents a pale pink color with bright reflections. The bouquet recalls floral scents, aromas of small red-skinned fruits,pomegranate, white peach, and light spicy nuances. The sip is soft, fruity, and leads to a fresh and savory finish.
