Pinot Grigio La Vis 2025

The Pinot Grigio La Vis is a harmonious and aromatically intense wine, produced in the Lavis area, at the entrance of the green Valle di Cembra. Thanks to the cool climate and vinification only in steel, the wine retains its varietal typicity and the salty and mineral freshness of its terroir. The floral aromas are enriched with notes of ripe fruit and slight hints of dried fruit. On the palate, it unleashes all its fruity richness, broad and soft, which extends into a sip of good final persistence.

The Pinot Grigio wine has been cultivated for many decades in Trentino, especially in the medium hill areas, where it expresses its wide aromatic palette. La Vis Winery cultivates Pinot Grigio vines in the Lavis and Gardolo areas, on sandy-loam soils originating from the deposits of the Avisio and from the alluvial sediments of the Adige river at an altitude of 270 meters above sea level with a southwest exposure. The vines are planted in Trentino pergola with a density of 4500 plants per hectare and are managed under organic farming practices. At harvest,manual harvesting of the grapes, followed by a soft pressing and a static decantation of the must. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature and the wine then matures in steel on the fine lees for 5/6 months before bottling.

Today, Pinot Grigio represents one of the most loved wines in the world, for its soft and harmonious character and its expressive immediacy. La Vis Winery offers a straightforward and direct version, with typically varietal tones and an alpine character, fresh and mineral. In the glass, it presents an intense golden yellow color, with brilliant reflections. On the nose, it is rich in aromas ranging from floral scents to fruity notes, to hints of honey and dried fruit. On the palate, it has good structure, with rich and fleshy fruit that fills the sip and retains its aromatic profile until the finish of good persistence.
