The Pinot Noir from Andriano is a red wine with a rich, full, and elegant profile that comes from Alto Adige. Vinified in steel and briefly aged in wood, it opens with a multifaceted and varied olfactory spectrum, ranging from notes of blackberries, strawberries, and black currants to pepper and sweet spices. Tasty and balanced on the palate, enhanced by youthful freshness and a gentle tannin.

The Pinot Nero from Andriano is one of the many offspring of a winery that has the philosophy of paying maximum attention to even the smallest detail, from the vineyard to the cellar. On calcareous-clay soils and with a Mediterranean climate, the Pinot Nero grapes grow at an altitude of about 500 meters above sea level. An ideal location that allows for perfect development of the fruits ready to bring pure joy inside the glass.

The Andriano winery with this Pinot Nero begins its story at the start of the harvest which occurs later than the white grapes present on the estate and exclusively by hand in order to maintain the high quality of the fruits from which the base wines are obtained. Subsequently, once the work has passed into the cellar, a traditional red vinification is carried out inside stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature that does not exceed 30°C. Once this phase is completed, careful pump-overs are performed while waiting for maturation and malolactic fermentation to take place.inside large wooden barrels.

The Pinot Nero Andriano fills the glass with a rich ruby red that anticipates the abundance of aromas flowing to the nose: black currant and blackberry dominate, followed by light spicy and toasted notes due to the use of wood during the winemaking process. On the palate, one is entranced by the refinement and elegance of this Pinot Nero, truly capable of making the mouth feel silky thanks also to the delicate contribution of soft tannins. This wine, produced by the first social winery in Alto Adige, is an exceptional example of how commitment, passion, and attention to detail can create true enological gems and, glancing at the price, become opportunities not to be missed.
