Pinot Nero Rosato Franz Haas 2024
The Pinot Noir Rosé by Franz Haas is a delicious expression that offers hints of red fruits both on the nose and on the palate, freshness and aromatic herbs. A wine that never tires the palate due to its harmony and balance, in addition to a savory characteristic that entices the sip
The Rosato Pinot Nero wine presents itself with a fresh and fruity bouquet, truly enticing for those who bring the glass to their nose. However, the pleasure does not end here, as even on the palate, one experiences a sip that is more than pleasant, where “freshness” is the key word of a drink that flows easily. Franz Haas, an important winery for the production of quality wines, has always loved to present at least one rosé wine within his selection, a tradition that in recent years has come to life with the idea of vinifying in rosé a grape variety that feels particularly at home in Alto Adige, Pinot Nero.
The Rosato Pinot Nero is born from those vines cultivated by Franz Haas using the guyot system in vineyards located about 750 meters above sea level. The soils in which the vines grow are of dolomitic erosive origin. The grapes obtained after destemming are gently pressed, and the must thus obtained ferments in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The malolactic fermentation also takes place. It remains to mature in steel tanks for a few months, before being bottled.
This Pinot Nero Rosato reveals itself to the eye with an intense color, shifting from pink to the typical red of cherries. On the nose, a whirlwind of fresh sensations is perceived, from which hints of small red fruits, touches of aromatic herbs, and slight notes reminiscent of cocoa emerge. Very pleasant on the palate, where it enters with a light yet satisfying sip, characterized by a savory and fresh texture. It finishes with a finale that presents light fruity returns. A label with which Franz Haas continues a traditional path whereby rosé wine must always be present within the range of products created: after tasting it, you will beg the winery to continue with this philosophy!
