Pinot Noir Rosé 'Piz' Girlan 2025
New arrivalsThe ‘Piz Rosé’ from Girlan comes from vineyards located at the highest altitudes of Oltradige, between 550 and 650 meters above sea level. The name refers to the altitude, as "Piz" is the Ladin word for the alpine peak. The predominantly east-facing exposure encourages slow ripening and pronounced freshness, which the production process preserves by choosing to avoid malolactic fermentation and aging the wine on the fine lees in stainless steel. In the glass, it opens with clear aromas of small red fruits, crisp notes without heaviness, and a pleasant, mineral finish. On the palate, it is balanced, with a lively freshness supporting it, light and free of tannins. It pairs naturally with dishes from summer Mediterranean cuisine, such as baked mullet with olives and capers.
