The Poulsard Arbois from Domaine du Pelican is an authentic expression of the Jura, a French territory where the Poulsard grape finds one of its most characteristic interpretations. Coming from old vines, this red highlights the delicacy and ethereal character of this thin-skinned grape with an elegant profile. The grapes are fully destemmed and ferment for about two weeks with gentle pump-overs, before aging for 15 months in large oak barrels. In the glass, it presents a light ruby hue and a refined aromatic profile, with hints of small red fruits, floral references, and light spicy nuances.
