The 'Piluna' from Castello Monaci is a single-varietal Primitivo from Salento, named after the ancient tuff containers used to store oil and wine. It is a red wine with a purple ruby color characterized by softness and intensity, aromas of red fruit, vanilla, and aromatic herbs from the Mediterranean scrub. Warm and engaging, it is perfect for an evening with friends, to accompany grilled meats, roasts, and aged cheeses.
