Primitivo di Manduria Notte Rossa is an opulent expression of this Apulian variety, aged in oak barrels for several months. In the glass, it reveals a ruby red colour with violet reflections and unfolds an intense aromatic profile of cherry and ripe plum, with sweet tones of vanilla and cocoa. The palate is enveloping and releases the typical warmth of the grape variety, leaving a sweet persistence

Primitivo di Manduria Notte Rossa is a classic expression of the generous land of Salento. It is produced with the most widespread red grape variety in the area, which in Manduria expresses itself with a rich and intense Mediterranean profile. Ageing in wood makes the wine particularly harmonious, with dense fruity aromas and soft, evolving notes. Its warm and persuasive taste offers an endless taste experience. It is a label suitable for those looking for a red wine with remarkable structure, powerful and concentrated, ideal to serve with roasted or grilled red meat dishes.

Primitivo di Manduria is produced by an Apulian winery that cultivates vineyards in the territory of Sava, in the province of Taranto. The Notte Rossa estate is located at an altitude of 100 metres above sea level, in an area characterised by a hot and dry climate, mitigated only by the constant presence of sea breezes. The vineyards are located in some of the most suitable areas for Primitivo production, on classic red soils characterised by the presence of limestone, clay and sand. The old bush vines produce a small quantity of high-quality grapes in a place where nature is still wild and unspoilt, among the spontaneous shrubs of the Mediterranean scrub. Thanks to these particular soil and climate characteristics, Primitivo reaches high levels of expression, producing wines with a strong territorial imprint.

Primitivo di Manduria Notte Rossa is produced in the Sava area. After harvesting, the grapes are fermented using selected yeasts and macerated on the skins for about ten days. Before bottling, the wine is aged for at least 5-6 months in barriques. In the glass, it has a ruby red colour with youthful violet reflections. The nose opens with soft aromas of ripe plums, cherry jam and small dark berries, accompanied by sweet notes of oriental spices, hints of cocoa, bitter chocolate and vanilla. The palate is dense and rich, with sweet fruit and a velvety, subtle tannic texture. The finish is very well-balanced, with a very persistent finish that returns to spicy notes.
