The Apulian red Primitivo branded Rosa del Golfo is one of the interpreters with which the winery brings to life the beauty of a particular area of Puglia, Salento. The Primitivo Rosa del Golfo is born from the homonymous grapes of what is one of the most important varieties for Apulian viticulture, Primitivo. The vines of this variety grow with the bush training system, sinking their roots into a red soil, rich in iron, characterized by a calcareous and clayey subsoil. The vineyards where it is cultivated surround the municipalities of Sava, Manduria, Sannicola, and Alezio. The grapes, once harvested during the harvest, are crushed and then statically cold decanted; followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel containers at controlled temperature.controlled. Finally, we move on to the aging phase, in which the wine rests for a few months in oak barrels.

This Primitivo signed by the Rosa del Golfo winery presents itself to the eye with a hue reminiscent of ruby red, with some shades tending towards purple at the rim. The nose is teeming with intense aromas, telling a story made of predominantly fruity and floral notes, enriched by touches of sweet spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied, balanced, with a sip characterized by a salty and fresh trace, which ends with a persistent finish.
