This Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore Brut is made by the Nino Franco winery using pure Glera, a reference grape variety widely cultivated within the terroir of Veneto. The vines of this variety are carefully tended to by the winery team, and only the best bunches are selected during the harvest phase. After pressing the grapes, a static decantation follows, and the obtained must ferments in steel containers at a controlled temperature. The refermentation then takes place in autoclave, following the production principles of the Metodo Martinotti.
The Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore Brut made by the Nino Franco winery presents itself visually with a light and bright color, reminiscent of straw yellow; the perlage is fine and has good persistence. The aromas on the nose are straightforward and direct, presenting a predominantly floral and fruity scent. On the palate, it is light-bodied, lively, and dynamic, with a creamy and fresh sip and a taste characterized by a savory and dry flavor. The time for aperitif – why not with sushi?! – has never been so enticing!
