The Prosecco "Rive di Collalto" Brut is a delicate and fragrant sparkling wine made from Glera grapes grown on the steep morainic hills of Valdobbiadene. Fine and subtle notes of crunchy green apple, juicy citrus, acacia flowers, and light hints of bread crust animate a light, easy-to-drink body with great freshness, marked by a very fine and persistent perlage.

The “Rive di Collalto” Brut is a Prosecco with a fine and fragrant personality that comes to life on the steep and generous hills of Susegana, a municipality in Treviso that connects the renowned areas of Conegliano to Valdobbiadene. The name derives from the precious Riva (this is how the crus of the area are called) characterized by a morainic soil with the presence of clays and limestone conglomerates, fundamental elements that give the grapes a slight mineral sensation. It is here that the beautiful Borgoluce winery rises, immersed in a natural oasis that extends over 1,100 hectares of property and embraces vineyards, meadows, and chestnut woods, where cattle and pigs roam freely. The vineyards, managed with great respect and environmental sustainability, frame the castle of San Salvatore and give rise to Glera grapes rich in aromas and flavors. Here is born the “Rive di Collalto”: a nectar that tells the story of its lush land with a pure, immediate, and precise profile.

The Prosecco Brut “Rive di Collalto” is a lively and direct interpretation of the territoryof Valdobbiadene. The vines, facing east and southeast, are located between 200 and 300 meters in the locality of Castagnè and are trained using the classic sylvoz system or “double inverted”. The grapes are selected with great care and attention and harvested slightly early. Once destemmed, they are gently pressed to extract all the delicacy and finesse of the fruit. After a short fermentation in steel, the process continues with a second fermentation that takes place at low temperature in pressurized autoclaves according to the Charmat/Martinotti method. The wine ages on the fine lees for about 5 months.
