Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore Millesimato Extra Brut Val d'Oca 2025
The Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore Vintage Extra Brut from Val d'Oca is a sophisticated sparkling wine with an excellent quality-price ratio. It dresses the flute in a straw yellow color with greenish reflections and offers fine and elegant bubbles. A quality prosecco, complex and vibrant, with the typical aromas of the originating grape, Glera, including linden flowers, acacia, and Mediterranean herbs. Perfect to pair with raw fish, steamed dishes, and quick finger foods.
The cooperative winery Val d’Oca presents its Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Brut Vintage, a pure Glera with a graceful and affable presence. With nearly 600 member growers cultivating over 800 hectares of vineyards, Val d’Oca is one of the most important wineries dedicated to Prosecco production. The estate was the first in 1997 to use the satin black bottle for its most precious wines, a bottle that was awarded the following year at Vinitaly for best packaging, becoming an identity symbol of the winery.
The Prosecco Val d’Oca Valdobbiadene Superiore Extra Brut Vintage originates from only Glera grapes grown according to sustainable practices on the hills of the Valdobbiadene area. After harvesting, the bunches are immediately transferred to the winery and vinified in white through gentle pressing and subsequent alcoholic fermentation of the must in stainless steel tanks. The subsequent refermentation takes place in autoclave according to the Martinotti Method, also known as the Charmat Method, and the sparkling wine is finally bottled as Extra Brut, with a residual sugar of 3 g/l, in the classic satin black bottle of Val d’Oca.
In the glass, the Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Vintage Extra Brut by Val d’Oca displays a straw yellow color with greenish reflections and a lasting, fine effervescence. The aromatic bouquet offers interesting notes of white peach, linden and acacia flowers, Mediterranean herbs, and cedar. The tasting is full and complex, with vibrant freshness that accompanies a rather elegant finish, suitable for a sophisticated audience. The winery itself recommends pairing this Valdobbiadene with both raw or steamed fish dishes and assorted finger food.
