This Millesimato Extra Dry Valdo is a Prosecco Treviso that comes from pure Glera grapes. The vines grow in the surroundings of the city of Treviso, in parcels located about 100 meters above sea level characterized by a clayey subsoil. The grapes are harvested in the last week of September, at the highest level of ripeness. The berries obtained through careful destemming are gently pressed and the must obtained ferments at a controlled temperature of 18 degrees in steel. The refermentation,with the sparkling process, it takes place in autoclave, for a total of 90 days, thus following the production principles of the Martinotti Method.
The Prosecco Treviso Millesimato Extra Dry Valdo presents itself to the eye with a straw yellow color, crossed by a line of fine bubbles with good persistence. The nose is enveloped by elegant sensations, where white-fleshed fruit is tinged with citrus nuances, also recalling a floral component. Light on the palate, it flows with a young and slender sip, appreciated for the delicacy of its fruity taste. A bottle that, among its many merits, also presents itself at a very interesting price.
