The Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Extra Dry by Borgoluce is made from grapes coming from the hills of Valdobbiadene, Susegana, and Collalto, spectacular settings with an irresistible natural charm. Here, in the locality of Musile, the Borgoluce estate extends over 1,220 hectares diversified for production: vineyards, pastures, woods, farms, orchards, mills, and dairies produce everything necessary for daily living. Thanks to this biodiversity, the soils on which the vines rest are always rich and fertile, suitable for producing healthy clusters, perfect for winemaking.
The Borgoluce Prosecco Extra Dry Superiore comes from vines grown with the sylvoz training system, typical of these areas, from vineyards located on morainic soils with clayey land, high in calcium carbonate, which gives the ripe clusters a great finesse of taste and aromas. The temperate climate also positively influences the quality of the harvest, thanks to warm and never sultry summers, with an average annual temperature variation of 20 degrees, excellent for aromatic maturation of the grapes. After the harvest, the Glera clusters undergo a soft pressing and the first alcoholic fermentation, then referment a second time in autoclave to acquire the typical sparkle.
The Borgoluce Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Extra Dry presents itself with an elegant straw yellow color, made brilliant by the rich, fine, and persistent perlage and expresses comforting notes mainly of fruit, such as mango, white peach, and golden apple flesh enriched with aromas of wildflowers.
