It is a label that impresses with its strong varietal trait, featuring a tense and vibrant profile, enriched with delicately fruity aromas and pleasantly mineral notes.
The white Riesling, produced by the Trentino winery Pojer e Sandri, is the result of research aimed at enhancing the best characteristics of the Faedo area, through the cultivation of grape varieties most suited to the typically alpine climate and soils composed of volcanic rocks, sandstones, marls, and limestone dolomites. In this high hill area, located between the Adige Valley and the Cembra Valley, around the mid-1970s, Pojer e Sandri have created a project that still continues to amaze today, not only for the high quality level of the wines but also for the inexhaustible desire to innovate. The Pojer e Sandri winery represents one of the most dynamic realities of the territory, a beacon of the entire production of the region, which continues to pursue always new and ambitious goals on the path to excellence.
The Riesling wine from Pojer e Sandri is born in Faedo, from vineyards cultivated at an altitude between 350 and 750 meters above sea level. After soft pressing, the fermentation of the must takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks. The wine matures for several months in steel tanks before being bottled. In the glass, it presents a straw yellow color, with slight and bright greenish reflections. On the nose, it expresses aromas of citrus, grapefruit, lime, golden apple, and hints of wild mountain herbs. The sip is intense, long, and deep, with delicate aromas and a finish of great citrus freshness, closing with saline and mineral notes.
