Raz Romagna’s ‘Tornado’ sparkling wine is a lively and crisp second-fermented wine. The wine’s name refers to the tornado that devastated the province of Ravenna in 2023, destroying vineyards, homes and equipment. However, the Raz winery did not give up and chose to start afresh, launching a new production. The nose is fragrant, with notes of crisp fruit such as apple and pear, hints of citrus zest, vegetal nuances and subtle hints of yeast on the finish.
