Rosé Wine 'Cancelli' Rabasco

Rabasco's Rosato "Cancelli" has a certain charm right from the bottle: from the transparent glass you can clearly see the color peeping out of the label. The latter is also very simple, but reveals care and passion: the somewhat art deco coat of arms frames the handwritten information. It is not just the appearance, this is a rosé that is produced in the Rabasco winery, where Iole is a true artisan of wine. Few interventions in the vineyard and cellar, maximum respect and enhancement of the environment and the plant itself, abolition of chemicals and operations that follow the biodynamic lunar calendar.

Rabasco Rosato "Cancelli" is made from red grapes. The winery's vineyard is precisely "Cancelli," 450 meters above sea level in the district of the same name in Loreto Aprutino in the province of Pescara. It consists of 4 hectares of 40 years-old vines, which enjoy the positive influences of the Gran Sasso on one side and the Tyrrhenian Sea on the other. Alcoholic fermentation takes place spontaneously through indigenous yeasts and without temperature control in concrete tanks.

The "Cancelli" Rosato di Rabasco reveals its color already in the bottle: an intense and powerful pink. Once in the glass, sweet and pleasant hints of wild strawberry and pomegranate expand, accompanied by more lashings of wild berries. Floral notes then intertwine with ethereal mineral essences. In the mouth it is quite charming, proving very dynamic and winking, dominated by freshness and delicacy. It has a character of its own that means it can also be paired with cold cuts and cured meats, white meat and even elaborate vegetables. Forget the idea of "feminine" and shy rosé: try this bottle, and you will start looking at pink with other eyes.
