"Agathe" by Corte Sant'Alda is a rosé wine based on Molinara, vinified and aged in Tuscan amphora. On the nose, it expresses floral, fruity and mineral sensations, with slight spicy hints. On the palate, it is smooth, subtle on the sip, savory, fresh and with fruity returns.

Corte Sant'Alda's Rosato in Anfora "Agathe" is a joyful and dynamic rosé, a splendid expression of pure Molinara bottled by one of the area's most authoritative wineries. Corte Sant'Alda is a winery whose history is closely intertwined with one of the most vocated areas for Italian viticulture, that of Valpolicella, and thir wines are a manifesto of classicism and territorial adherence. There are now 19 hectares under vine, cultivated according to the dictates of biodynamics so as to preserve the vitality of the soil and plants, and dedicated to local varieties such as Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara, Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave. Beyond the numerous awards, this Veronese winery is a safe harbour for passionate drinkers in the area, but also an absolute reference for those approaching the type for the first time. Unshakable pillar.

The rosé wine "Agathe" Corte Sant'Alda is made with Molinara only, with grapes from 20-year-old vines resting on limestone soil. In the vineyard, biodynamic practices are integrated with an already established organic regime, whereby the use of any chemical or synthetic substances is refused and only natural preparations and a little copper and sulphur are used. In the cellar, 2-day maceration on the skins and spontaneous fermentation in terracotta amphorae is followed by 6-month ageing in the same containers.

Corte Sant'Alda's "Agathe" Rosato in Amphora presents itself in the glass with a bewitching, intense and luminous cherry rosé colour. A nose that combines light-heartedness and complexity, in which hints of strawberry, cherry and white pepper stand out surrounded by mineral lashings. Full and pulpy on the palate, but at the same time tonic and snappy, unravelling between fruity hints and a remarkable saline persistance. Among Italian rosés, it can undoubtedly be considered a top in its category.
