The Rosso Conero "Piancarda" is a red wine from the Marche region based on Montepulciano with a beautiful aromatic concentration, aged for 12 months in oak barrels. The olfactory profile is rich and intense, with notes of plums, sour cherries, and underbrush in evidence. The taste is soft, warm, velvety, harmonious, and well-balanced.

The Rosso Conero "Piancarda" from the Marche winery Garofoli is a intense and rich wine made with pure Montepulciano. In the hilly area of the Conero promontory, this fine red grape from central Italy has found soils and climatic conditions to express itself with less power and concentration, instead favoring traits of elegance, freshness, and pleasant drinkability. The aging in barrel allows the wine to soften the tannins, preserving a profile characterized by fragrant varietal notes reminiscent of red fruit, plum, and oriental spices.

The "Piancarda" is a Rosso Conero resulting from the work of one of the historic wineries in the Marche region. The Garofoli family has been dedicated to viticulture since the late 1800s and today manages a company of about fifty hectares in the Castelfidardo area, in the province of Ancona. The vineyards are cultivated in the hilly area that slopes down from the first pre-Apennine hills to the Adriatic coast. The warm and sunny climate, the gentle sea breezes, and soils mainly composed of limestone create a habitat perfect for the vine, which in these conditions produces particularly elegant and fragrant wines. Garofoli has always paid great attention to enhancing the typical grapes of the area, playing a decisive role in the rebirth of Marche wine and spreading a culture of quality wine, focusing heavily on Verdicchio and Montepulciano. Garofoli wines are a genuine expression of the territory and allow one to discover the most traditional and sincere face of the Marche.

The Rosso Conero "Piancarda" by Garofoli is produced from grapes grown in soils predominantly of limestone origin, typical of the inland area of the Riviera del Conero. At the end of the harvest, fermentation takes place with a maceration period on the skins of about ten days. The wine rests for 12 months in oak barrels and completes the aging process with 6 months in the bottle. The color is intense ruby red and on the nose it is characterized by aromas of ripe red fruit, marasca, plum, soft hints of jam, and delicately spicy nuances. On the palate, it has a good structure, with a harmonious and soft entry, juicy and ripe, supported by a lively tannic texture. The finish is long and persistent with a pleasantly refreshing closure.
