The Rosso di Valtellina "Olé" is a fresh, dynamic and exuberant red wine, rich in floral and fruity sensations, aged only in steel. Notes of wild strawberries, spices and berries enliven a light and fragrant sip, supported by slight and elegant tannins.

The wine “Olè” is a Rosso di Valtellina that allows us to appreciate one of the greatest grape varieties of northern Italy, Nebbiolo, outside of its typical terroir of choice. It is indeed a variety usually cultivated in Piemonte, which finds in the Valtellina region of Lombardy a cradle where it loves to settle. This bottle made by Dirupi, a young production reality to keep an eye on, reveals itself with a young and unruly personality, where fruity sensations narrate what is experienced on the nose and in the mouth. A label that matures only in steel, to maintain intact that fragrance that represents its strong point.

The Rosso di Valtellina “Ole’” is born from the pure grapes of a great variety, Nebbiolo. The vines grow within terraced vineyards, located at an altitude above sea level ranging between 400 and 450 meters, characterized by significant slopes, which in some cases even approach a 70% incline. The vines sink their roots into a morainic subsoil, rich in sand. The bunches, once harvested during the harvest phase, ferment in steel, macerating for just under two weeks. We then proceed with the aging, carried out in steel, for a period of about 6 months.

The “Ole’” is a Rosso di Valtellina that, in the glass, takes on a light and clear hue, reminiscent of the color of ruby. The nose is dominated by fruity aromas, which, as the wine develops, reveal slightly spicy sensations. On the palate, it is of good body, with a sip of pleasant freshness characterized by a fruity taste. A label with which the Dirupi winery shows us how Valtellina is truly an interesting terroir for the cultivation of the Nebbiolo grape variety.
