The Sangiovese 'Appassimento' from Tenuta Santodeno comes from the hills of Romagna. It is an elegant experiment, a red wine vinified from grapes, hand-picked and dried in small boxes, to concentrate the sugars and give complexity. The intense red color anticipates aromas of jammy fruit along with dark spicy notes. On the palate, it reveals itself as full and concentrated, with soft tannins and harmony in the sip. Perfect with game, roasts, and aged cheeses
