The "Cosecose" from the Valter Mattoni winery is an authentic and sincere Sangiovese from the Marche region with a warm and tasty profile. The grapes come from vines with an average age of 60 years grown on predominantly clay soils, and the wine is aged in steel tanks and barriques for 6-8 months before being bottled. The color is intense ruby red with bright reflections while the aromas released evoke ripe red-fleshed fruit, violet petals, and cinchona. The sip is warm, winey, savory, soft, enveloping, and with an excellent persistent taste finish.

The "Cosecose" from the winery of Valter Mattoni is an artisanal wine made by one of the most interesting and original winemakers in the Italian wine scene. The label comes from an ancient peasant tradition, passed down within the family from generation to generation. It is a pure Montepulciano made from grapes of old vines, vinified simply, with the aim of obtaining a wine of great territorial typicity, capable of expressing the authentic character of the grape variety. The estate is located in a particularly suited area, a few kilometers from the coast and the first pre-Apennine hills. It is an intense and structured red, particularly suitable for pairing with roasted meats and grilled meats.

The wine "Cosecose" is the result of the work and passion of Valter Mattoni, who manages an estate of just over 8 hectares in the hilly area of Castorano, in the province of Ascoli Piceno. The Sangiovese vines have an average age of about 60 years and are located at an altitude between 200 and 300.meters above sea level, with a sunny exposure facing south, southwest. The soils are predominantly clay-based, very suitable for red grape varieties. The harvest takes place in the first weeks of October and the healthiest and ripest bunches are sent for vinification in steel tanks, with spontaneous fermentation and the use of only indigenous yeasts. The maceration on the skins lasts two or three weeks depending on the vintage. Before being bottled, the wine matures for 6-8 months in steel tanks and in oak barriques.

The red "Cosecose", produced by the Marche winemaker Valter Mattoni, is an author wine that expresses a strong and direct personality. Its straightforward and sincere profile recalls the good wine of the past, a pure expression of the grape, without too many mediations. In the glass, it presents a deep ruby red color with bright reflections. The olfactory profile offers intense and rich sensations, with aromas of ripe red plum, cherry, small dark berry fruits, floral nuances of violet, soft spicy hints, notes of tobacco, leather, carob, underbrush, and humus. On the palate, it has a good structure, with lively and well-integrated tannins, a generous and enveloping fruit that leads to a long and satisfying finish, with good taste persistence.
