The Sauvignon Lafòa is a white wine from Alto Adige belonging to the most prestigious and historic line of the Colterenzio winery. It is a rich expression of notable elegance, pleasantly fresh, harmonious, and balanced that concludes with a long and persistent finish

The Sauvignon wine “Lafòa” is a white with great completeness of taste, featuring an excellently developed olfactory spectrum. A truly well-crafted product, as evidenced by the awards it has received over the years, which, moreover, is also capable of undergoing an additional period of evolution in the cellar, ensuring not only to challenge the passage of time but to enhance its charm. A label that belongs to the most prestigious line of the entire Colterenzio range, transporting us to a dimension where dreams become reality.

This Sauvignon “Lafòa” white originates from the exclusive use of an international grape cultivated worldwide, the Sauvignon. The Colterenzio winery team cultivates the vines of this variety in vineyards characterized by a subsoil composed of sand and gravel, of morainic origin. Yields are always kept very low, never exceeding 45 hectoliters per hectare, thus always guaranteeing organoleptically perfect clusters. The grapes, once they arrive in the roomsto be used for winemaking, briefly macerate on the skins, fermenting both in steel and in barrique, where malolactic fermentation also partially takes place. The aging lasts for a period of 8 months, with half of the final mass maturing in steel, while the other rests in wood.

The Sauvignon “Lafòa” is a wine that, in the glass, presents itself with a bright golden yellow, decidedly shining. Rich and layered is the array of aromas that envelop the nose, ranging from exotic fruit to mountain herbs, reaching typical varietal sensations, such as tomato leaf. On the palate, it is full-bodied, round, juicy, and flavorful, with a sip characterized by a pleasant freshness; it impresses with its finish, endowed with excellent persistence. A label that embodies the excellence of Alto Adige viticulture, as demonstrated by the excellent recognition it has received from the main Italian reference guides.
