The Sauvignon “Vich” is an intense, rich and articulated expression, born from vinification in steel tanks and in oak barrels. It has a mineral, citrusy and exuberant profile, with scents of aromatic herbs and exotic fruits. The taste is fresh, taught, savory, salty and persistent

The Trentino white wine Sauvignon "Vich" is born from the meticulous zoning work carried out over more than 30 years by the La Vis winery. It is therefore a product that originates from the perfect varietal-terroir combination and is announced with varied aromas on the nose, leading to a sip with a distinctly mineral profile. A label that achieves interesting qualitative levels, thus deserving a convinced tasting.

This "Vich" is a Sauvignon made from the eponymous grapes, used in purity by the La Vis team. The vines of this international variety grow using the guyot and Trentino pergola systems, rooting deeply within the vineyards surrounding Giovo and Meano, characterized by a sandy-loam subsoil and an altitude of about 400-500 meters above sea level. The clusters, carefully selected during harvest, are destemmed and the berries are gently pressed, before being subjected to static decantation.  Fermentation follows, 70% carried out in steel and for the the remaining part carried out instead in oak wood. This dual wood-steel pairing is also found during the aging phase, in which the wine rests for 10-12 months; after bottling, it undergoes an additional maturation period of 6 months in the bottle.

The Sauvignon "Vich" presents itself in the glass with a concentrated straw-yellow color, crossed by more golden flashes that stand out at the rim. The array of aromas that outlines its profile on the nose moves through a progression of articulated notes, where citrus, herbal notes, and exotic fruit alternate in a dance of inviting aromas. On the palate, it is full-bodied, balanced, with a sip characterized by a salty imprint; it closes with a finish marked by a citrus aftertaste. A label with which the La Vis winery wins the praise of the main national industry critics.
