The Sciacchetrà Anfora di Possa is a sweet and intense wine, vinified and aged in terracotta amphorae. The bunches are left to dry for a few months on racks to better concentrate the sugars. The result is a soft, full-bodied, and persistent expression, with overwhelming and complex aromas of ripe fruit, dried fruit, and candied citrus.

The Anfora di Possa is a multifaceted interpretation of Sciacchetrà, the mythological sweet wine from Liguria. The Possa winery was born from Heydi's desire to return to the Cinque Terre the wine that made it so famous, whose tradition had been forgotten for many years. Sciacchetrà, the flagship product of the winery due to its rarity and the difficulty of harvesting conditions, as well as its extraordinary quality, is a legendary nectar, already praised in the past by great writers such as Petrarch, Boccaccio, Pliny, D'Annunzio. The interpretation of the Possa winery is one of the most exciting and true to the territory, produced in only about 400 specimens. One must not let it slip away.

The Sciacchetrà anfora from Possa comes from a blend of Bosco, Rossese Bianco, and other native varieties with vines planted on sandy soils. The production of this jewel is extremely complex and laborious, therefore after a very careful manual harvest, the grapes are dried on special racks to concentrate the sugary part of the grape. An additional selection of the most intact berries precedes fermentation, which occurs spontaneously in terracotta amphorae with a maceration of about a month on the skins. The aging takes place in amphora for about 12 months.

The Sciacchetrà wine fills the glass with an enchanting golden color edged with amber reflections. Exciting from the first sniff, it explodes with ripe apricot, sea salt, caramelized almonds, and acacia honey. Its ability to convey the territory, despite a distinct sweetness, is moving. A stunning sip, hardly forgettable for how it millimetrically combines sweet, fresh, and salty in a overwhelming tasting. A bottle that explains the reason for the legend of this passito. Unicum
