Soave Classico 'Vigneti di Foscarino' Inama 2023

The Soave Classico "Vigneti di Foscarino" directly expresses the main characteristics and peculiarities of the union between Garganega and the volcanic territory of Soave. The old vines, with an average age of 40 years, draw nourishment from a lava basalt soil, capable of giving the wine an enviable intensity and minerality. An interpretation of Soave that, as admitted by the winery itself, looks to history and follows ancient production values of "minimalist enology".

“Vigneti di Foscarino” begins its story with the manual harvest of a selection of about 10 hectares. Once transferred to the winery, the grapes undergo destemming-crushing and the must remains in contact with the skins for a few hours, enriching itself with aromatic compounds and color. Fermentation occurs for 1/3 in steel, 1/3 in large barrels, and 1/3 in new and used barriques, followed by frequent batonnage for 6 months. The aging concludes in steel for 6 months.
