Soave 'Fienile' Camerani - Corte Sant'Alda 2024

This Soave 'Fienile' is a white wine from Veneto produced by the winery Corte Sant’Alda, where sustainability and biodynamic practices are the cornerstones of a production always attentive to respecting nature and the balances of the ecosystem surrounding the vineyards. We are faced with an elegant product, which presents itself with a business card revolving around the concept of minerality both on the nose and on the palate. A fresh and drinkable bottle that pairs incredibly well with fish pasta dishes and vegetarian risottos.

The Corte Sant’Alda Soave 'Fienile' originates from a blend where we find both Garganega and, in small percentages, Trebbiano di Soave. The vines of these two varieties grow in vineyards located in the Val di Mezzane, whose age ranges from 13 to 30 years, characterized by a subsoil predominantly composed of limestone and clay. We are at about 200-300 meters above sea level, with an exposure facing south and southwest. During the winemaking process, a maceration of a few hours on the skins is carried out, and the fermentation then occurs spontaneously – thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts – in steel tanks. The wine then remains to age for a few months in steel, staying in contact with the fine lees. 

The 'Fienile' Soave Corte Sant’Alda announces itself in the glass with a brilliant color, reminiscent of the shade of straw yellow. The aromas that emerge to the nose tell a story made up of predominantly fruity and mineral notes, enriched by hints of aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is light-bodied, enveloping thanks to a refreshing and savory sip, endowed with a beautiful personality. A bottle that conquers for its refinement, and which moreover is presented with a final price that is practically impossible to resist.
