Spergola 'Bora Lunga' Cinque Campi 2023

The Spergola ‘La Bora Lunga di Cinque Campi’ is a still wine, bucking the trend of the region’s long-standing tradition of sparkling wines. A small proportion of Moscato is blended with the Spergola in an unusual combination, involving five days of maceration on the skins prior to ageing. After twelve months in concrete vats followed by a further six in the bottle, the result is a white wine of rare complexity for the appellation. The nose reveals passion fruit, apple and aromatic herbs, against a pleasantly chalky and mineral backdrop.
