Podere Fedespina is a beautiful reality of high Lunigiana, an area too little known for the quality of its wines, perhaps penalized by its role as a border land. In reality, the liquids produced here have well-defined territorial characteristics and exalt, probably more than anywhere else, the splendid attributes of Ciliegiolo, the local flagship grape variety, alongside Merlot and Pinot Nero, which are also capable of giving life to peculiar expressions. Mirta and Antonio's choice is to tell the story of their territory in every way, thus adopting a sensitive and thoughtful approach regarding interventions in the vineyard and cellar. The bottles, after all, speak for themselves and cannot escape those looking for wines with that extra something, without giving up the convivial aspect of drinking.

The wine "Spinorosso" is obtained from a blend of Merlot and Ciliegiolo, coming from vines that rest on clay soils. Both in the vineyard and in the cellar, interventions are reduced to the bare minimum, therefore the alcoholic fermentation occurs spontaneously in cement tanks and the maceration lasts for 12 days. It ages for 24 months always in cement containers.

“Spinorosso” by Fedespina has an intense and deep ruby red color. The nose is pulsating and vital, made of marasca, lily, and wild herbs, painting a picture of bucolic freshness. The sip captivates with its juiciness and ease of drinking, a satisfying synthesis of pulp and freshness, without giving up the timely contribution of the saline component. Undoubtedly designed for the table, it is a wine that does justice to cold cuts, pasta dressed with meat sauces, and fresh cheeses. A heartthrob in the category of wines under 20 euros.
