Syrah Casale Certosa 2021

The Syrah from Casale Certosa is a red wine from certified organic farming coming from Lazio. In the cellar, it undergoes spontaneous fermentation and aging of at least 16 months in steel; at the end, bottling usually takes place 18 months after the harvest. This Syrah shows, to the eye, a color tending to ruby red while, on the nose, it expresses delicate but persistent aromas of berries, black pepper, and violet. On the palate, it remains dry and soft. It pairs well with white meats, first courses of Mediterranean cuisine, and cold cuts and cheeses.
