Tenute Capaldo's Taurasi Riserva 'Gulielmus' pays homage to the ancient Goleto Abbey, a symbol of Irpinia. Produced from Aglianico grapes cultivated on the clay-loam soils of Taurasi, with vines planted since 1992 using buds from pre-phylloxera vineyards. Aromas of ripe fruit and dried camphor evolve on vanilla and clove notes. The palate is austere and powerful, with well-integrated noble tannins evolving towards a soft finish
