Don Fulano's Reposado is the Tequila that represents the authentic spirit of the Jalisco. Aged for several months in oak barrels, it has a delicate, rich and enveloping profile, with notes of ripe fruit, agave and sweet hints of chocolate. Perfect for meditation, it can also be a precious ingredient for exotic cocktails
Tequila Reposado Don Fulano comes from the experience of the Fonseca family, which has been producing spirits in Mexico for several generations. The company is located in the region of Jalisco, home of the blue agave, which is cultivated at an altitude of around 2000 metres, in the highlands that have always been characterised by the presence of the best varieties of this precious Central American plant. The distillery embodies the traditional spirit of the region, offering labels inspired by the oldest artisanal culture and capable of delivering the original taste of a great Tequila.
Don Fulano's Reposado is a Tequila produced following the ancient savoir-faire handed down through the centuries, in one of the areas of Mexico that has always been among the most vocated for the production of great spirits. At the base is a raw material of the highest level. In fact, the distillery only uses the heart of the blue agave of the prized Maduro and Pinto varieties, cultivated in the Jalisco region on particularly suitable soils. The agave is still cut and processed by hand, according to artisanal methods. After a long cooking process in traditional ovens, fermentation takes place using only and exclusively indigenous yeasts. Distillation takes place in copper stills, which guarantee exceptional expressive finesse and rich aromatic concentration. The Tequila matures for a period of 11-18 months in fine French oak barrels. Before bottling, the distillate is lowered in degree with pure, light water from volcanic springs.
Tequila Reposado, made by the famous Mexican distillery Don Fulano, is a version that offers a perfect balance between the more fragrant and fruity aromas of the classic young Tequila, characterised by simple and immediate hints of agave, and the more complex notes deriving from ageing in noble oak barrels. In the glass it has a very clear, almost golden amber colour. The olfactory profile is characterised by a bouquet that offers the exuberance of ripe agave, the aromas of white-fleshed fruit, Williams pear, hints of ripe yellow fruit, peach, pineapple, vegetable nuances and soft spicy sensations, which enhance the refined aromatic palette. On the palate it is pleasantly soft and enveloping, with ripe, fruity aromas, well balanced by a fresh finish and good persistence.
