The Terlaner Classico Riserva from Weingut Leya originates in the municipality of Terlano mainly from Chardonnay grapes, with a small percentage of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Bianco. Fermentation occurs through a pied de cuve of indigenous yeasts, while aging takes place in barrique for about a year followed by an additional 10 months in steel, which helps define a South Tyrolean white of great structure and precision. On the nose, notes of crunchy fruit emerge, accompanied by hints of alpine herbs and light spicy nuances in the finish. On the palate, the sip is balanced, tense, and savory, with an elegant and persistent finish. Ideal paired with smoked salmon trout and herb potatoes
