The "Torrette" by Les Cretes is a red wine with a fresh and alpine sip, born at 500-750 meters above sea level on the sandy and morainic soils of the high Aosta Valley. Made from a blend of local red grapes, predominantly featuring Petit Rouge, it shows a balanced and fruity body, with a mineral aromatic profile enriched by accents of berries and floral notes.

The Torrette of Les Cretes is a territorial, identity wine that transports us into what viticulture is in Valle d'Aosta. Strong slopes characterize the vineyards where the varietals that give rise to this label grow, characterized by a harmonious profile dominated by the richness of fruit, a prelude to a linear and precise sip. A label that surprises for its excellent quality-price ratio, decidedly in favor of the former!

The red Torrette Les Cretes originates from a blend in which, in addition to 70% Petit Rouge, we also find other native red grape varieties, such as Cornalin Fumin and Mayolet. All these varieties grow in the vineyards of Aymavilles, St.Pierre, Gressan, and St. Christophie, located at an altitude between 500 and 750 meters above sea level and characterized by a sandy and morainic subsoil. It is worth noting how the intrinsic geographical conformation of Valle d'Aosta leads to vineyards characterized by a great slope, just like in this case. The must ferments in steel containers where the temperature is kept under control, for a total of 8 days. The production process then concludes with aging in steel, lasting 6 months.

The wine Torrette of Les Cretes presents itself to the eye with a typically ruby color, characterized by slight violet flashes that ignite its hue. The olfactory spectrum that determines the profile of the aromas on the nose is light, and reveals floral hints of violet mixed with more fruity sensations and more herbal references. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with a sip characterized by a fresh and fruity soul, in which a more mineral taste imprint is also appreciated. It closes with a clear and sharp finish. A label that carefully and authentically tells the story of Valle d'Aosta.
