Stoppa's 'Trebbiolo Rosso' is a typical red wine from the Colli Piacentini area, aged for 10 months in steel and concrete. The nose releases intense notes of red berries, flowers, humus and vegetal hints. On the palate, it has good balance and persistence, consistent with the nose

Trebbiolo Rosso della Stoppa is an everyday wine with immense personality, the calling card of one of the most significant wineries in the field of artisan wine production. Stoppa is one of those names that makes the heart of every self-respecting wine lover beat faster, thanks to its interpretations with overflowing personality, capable of defying time in a surprising way. A historic winery founded in Rivergaro in the mid-19th century by lawyer Ageno (to whom one of the winery's most significant labels is dedicated), it was thanks to the meeting between Giulio Armani and the Pantaleoni family, represented today by Elena, that the real push came in the production of artisan wines that represented the territory consistently and without compromise. Wines born of a tradition that was in danger of being lost, Giulio and Elena's wines have a distinct and recognisable character, earning them a rightful place in the hearts of wine lovers.

Trebbiolo wine is made from an almost equal blend of Barbera and Bonarda grapes and is the most everyday and convivial red wine produced by this renowned Emilian winery. The vineyard has always followed a low-intervention approach, using only a small amount of copper and sulphur so as not to compromise the vitality of the soil. In the cellar, spontaneous alcoholic fermentation and maceration on the skins for about 20 days continue, with minimal addition of sulphur before bottling.

Trebbiolo red wine appears in the glass with a bright ruby colour. The bouquet is distinctive and highly characteristic, a fusion of fresh fruit, vegetal notes and hints of earth and undergrowth. The palate combines juiciness and compactness, confirming its convivial and gastronomic nature, establishing itself as a favourite bottle suitable for everyday dining. If this is a 'basic' wine...
