The Vintage Trento Spumante Brut by Altemasi is harmonic and very pleasant, produced only from Chardonnay grapes with aging on the lees for at least 36 months. It embodies the energy, vitality and freshness of bubble from Trentino with a great quality price ratio
This Spumante Trento Brut is a Metodo Classico millesimato that is very pleasant to drink, proving extremely versatile, from aperitifs to the whole meal. The Chardonnay grapes from which it originates grow on plots characterised by a climate strongly influenced by temperature swings between day and night, a characteristic that makes each bunch full of refreshing and complex aromas, which are then found in the final sip. A bubbly to have on hand at all times, just in case.
The Brut Trento Spumante is made by the Altemasi winery using the pure grapes of a great international white grape variety, Chardonnay. The vineyards where this variety grows are highly vocated, and are located in the Valle dei Laghi and around the hills of Trento, at an altitude of between 450 and 600 metres above sea level. Once the grapes have been harvested and arrived at the winemaking facility, they ferment for the first time and then re-ferment in the bottle, following the Metodo Classico production principles. The wine then remains on the lees for a period of 36 months, after which it is disgorged, dosed and bottled.
This Trento Brut Spumante develops in the glass with a hue reminiscent of straw yellow, with light golden reflections on the rim. The perlage is fine, with excellent persistence. The aromas on the nose move on crisp and pleasant notes, chasing floral and fruity sensations, as well as notes of pastry and yeast. On the palate, it is full-bodied, ample and wrapping, with a streamlined and dynamic mouthfeel, marked by a nice, fresh, savoury note. A fine and elegant bottle from Altemasi, perfect to start an evening to remember.
