Trento Spumante Brut Riserva 'Quore' Letrari 2017

The sparkling wine “Quore” is a Trento Riserva Brut with which the Letrari winery begins to extend the aging period on the lees compared to the more essential sparkling wines in its range, raising it up to 60 months. A remarkable duration, which gives a label with a beautiful completeness of taste, and with a well-developed aromatic profile. A bubble that is a pleasure to drink already now, but can also be enjoyed in 3-4 years, to taste it in a more evolved version.

This Trento Spumante Brut Riserva “Cuore” is born from the pure use of an international white grape variety, Chardonnay. The grapes of this variety come from the vineyards that Letrari owns in the Val d’Adige, within territories characterized by a rocky subsoil, where a microclimate particularly favorable to the ripening of the bunches prevails. The grapes, carefully selected during the manual harvest, after the first fermentation, undergo a second fermentation in the bottle, following the production principles of the Classic Method.Classic. The wine then remains to mature on the lees for five years, enhancing its aromatic profile and personality.

The “Cuore” is a Trento Spumante Brut Riserva that, to the eye, appears with a bright and shining golden yellow color, with slight greenish reflections at the rim; the texture of the perlage is fine and persistent. The aromatic profile moves on a backdrop of broad and layered notes, where flowers and fruit blend with more buttery sensations and hints of honey. On the palate, it has great structure, velvety, full, and enveloping, with a sip characterized by a pleasant freshness. A fragrant and refined bubble, with which the Letrari winery gives us a label to reserve for the most special occasions.
