Le Vaglie di Santa Barbara is a Verdicchio of medium intensity and structure that presents itself with a beautiful brilliant yellow, with golden highlights. On the nose, it offers a rich and varied bouquet where citrus notes and fresh almonds alternate, while the sip is rich and beautifully fresh, with remarkable persistence.

The Verdicchio Classico dei Castelli di Jesi “Le Vaglie” from Santa Barbara is a white wine that was born in 1992, with the intention on one hand of stepping out of the classic molds of tradition and on the other of managing to pay the right tribute to the winemaking history of the Marche region. A goal achieved, because while it is true that this bottle presents a typical reference to almond both on the nose and in the mouth, it is equally interesting to note how the soul of this Verdicchio is multifaceted, fueled by a drinkability that repeats itself thanks to a nice freshness. It is no surprise that this label has more and more admirers, try it to believe.

“Le Vaglie” from Santa Barbara is a Verdicchio Classico dei Castelli di Jesi that originates from tuff and sandy soils, exposed both to the southeast and northeast, at an altitude of about 260 meters above sea level. The Verdicchio vines grow with the inverted pergola system. The vinification takes place in steel tanks with constant temperature control and has a duration of 21 days. The aging phase lasts a few months and takes place in steel, and at its end, bottling takes place.

The Verdicchio Classico dei Castelli di Jesi “Le Vaglie” from Santa Barbara presents itself to the eye with a bright and shiny straw yellow color, with some slight flashes tending more towards gold at the rim. The olfactory spectrum moves around a trace of long and deep notes, where white and yellow fruit is the protagonist with its different nuances. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with a generous sip that moves on a fresh and persistent note. A label that deserves careful tasting and that over the years has confirmed itself as one of the most interesting bottles within the denomination.
