Poderi Ghiaccioforte’s Vermentino ‘Bianco dei Poderi’ is a fresh wine from the Tuscan coast, a true expression of the Maremma region. The grapes come from the Colonna Aquilaia vineyard, in the southernmost part of the estate, exposed to sea breezes that promote balance and aromatic expression. Ageing in steel on the fine lees for six months helps to define greater structure and olfactory complexity. On the nose, notes of yellow-fleshed fruit emerge, along with hints of wild herbs, a touch of citrus zest and subtle iodine notes on the finish.
