Monteoro is a Vermentino from Gallura with a Mediterranean and mineral profile, matured only in steel. The bouquet opens with fruity and floral tones, concluding with hints of aromatic herbs, Mediterranean scrub, and nuts. The taste is full, fresh, and pleasantly savory with a long and persistent finish

The white Vermentino di Gallura Superiore “Monteoro” is a wine with a distinctly Mediterranean profile, from which the beauty of the Sardinian island emerges. Aromatic herbs alternate with fruity and floral aromas, a prelude to a round and fresh sip, ideal for pairing with fish-based cuisine. A label with which Sella & Mosca, a reference winery for the territory owned by the Terra Moretti group, gives voice to one of the most important regional grape varieties, Vermentino, interpreted within Gallura.

The white wine Vermentino di Gallura Superiore “Monteoro” is made from pure grapes of one of the most representative native grape varieties of the entire regional ampelographic spectrum, Vermentino. The vines of this variety grow on the south-facing slopes of Monte Limbara, on a terroir that originates from the granitic disintegration of the subsoil. Here, at about 200 meters above sea level, the climate is Mediterranean, and the temperature excursions are significant, allowing the grapes to mature while accumulating the maximumexpression of the varietal. The clusters, carefully harvested by the Sella & Mosca winery team, undergo a light cold maceration before fermenting at a temperature of 15 degrees in steel tanks. The wine remains in steel to mature for several months, until bottling.

The “Monteoro” Sella & Mosca is a Vermentino di Gallura Superiore that, in the glass, announces itself with a typically straw-yellow color, very bright in the glass. The range of aromas offered to the nose tells subtle and refined notes, typically varietal, where nuances of yellow fruit, white flowers, and Mediterranean scrub can be found. On the palate, it is full-bodied, enveloping, with a fresh sip, which enhances the drinking experience in a whirlwind of flavors with good persistence. A Sardinian white wine with which the Sella & Mosca winery, one of the most important production realities in the entire region, pays homage to the territory.
