The Lugore di Sardus Pater is a Vermentino of medium intensity and structure that offers a bouquet of pleasant intensity where notes of cedar and hazelnuts give way to a citrus finish. The sip is rich and of medium structure, mineral and pleasantly persistent

The "Lugore" is a Vermentino classic, round, and harmonious, to be enjoyed now to taste it at the peak of its evolutionary journey. It is a bottle that is the result of the great bond established between the terroir, the typically Mediterranean climate, and the company’s savoir-faire of Sardus Pater, a traditional winery in the area that has been based in Sant’Antioco, in the southwestern part of Sardinia, since 1949. A label where the taste, typically mineral, encourages a smooth and satisfying drink.

This "Lugore" Vermentino from Sardus Pater comes from vineyards located at sea level, with an age of around 15 years. The Vermentino plants are trained using the espalier system and their roots sink into a decomposed trachyte terroir. Harvest begins in the first week of September, and the grapes are destemmed. The berries are pressed, and the obtained must macerates cold for 10 hours at a temperature of 8 degrees. The subsequent fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks, and the malolactic fermentation does not occur.malolactic fermentation. The aging takes place after bottling directly in glass and lasts for 3 months.

The Vermentino di Sardegna "Lugore" reveals itself visually with a pleasant color that recalls the shades of straw yellow. On the nose, clear and precise aromas are perceived, shifting from citrus notes to nuances reminiscent of hazelnut. On the palate, it is light-bodied, slender, and drinkable, with a sip characterized by a fresh and savory flavor, finishing with a good persistence. A Sardinian white from Sardus Pater that finds its gastronomic vocation with great fish dishes, even raw, but is also appreciated at aperitif time due to its excellent drinkability.
