The Vermentino "Irisse" by Collemassari is a white produced in Maremma Toscana from Vermentino grapes to which a small percentage of Grechetto is added. Vinified and aged in 40 hectoliter oak barrels, it rests for another 6 months in bottle before being marketed. On the nose, it is characterized by sweet aromas of honey, juicy fruit, and notes of wild herbs, while on the palate it is creamy and enveloping.
